The moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here, it’s the weekend, which means it’s time for movies again.

 

1. Baby Driver

Talented getaway driver Baby (Ansel Elgort) relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. After meeting the woman (Lily James) of his dreams, he sees a chance to ditch his shady lifestyle and make a clean break. Coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), Baby must face the music as a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.

 

2. Wonder Woman

Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.

 

3. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks

An African-American woman becomes an unwitting pioneer for medical breakthroughs when her cells are used to create the first immortal human cell line in the early 1950s.

 

4. American Gods

Shadow is a man with a past. But now he wants nothing more than to live a quiet life with his wife and stay out of trouble. Until he learns that she's been killed in a terrible accident. Flying home for the funeral, as a violent storm rocks the plane, he is greeted by a strange man in the seat next to him. The man calls himself Mr. Wednesday, and he knows more about Shadow than is possible. He warns Shadow that a far bigger storm is coming. And from that moment on, nothing will ever be the same.

 

5. Coco

Despite his family's generations-old ban on music, young Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. 6. Megan Leavey

Megan Leavey, a U.S. Marine who was injured while on patrol in Iraq with her dog Rex, is awarded the Purple Heart. Years later, she fights through bureaucratic red tape to adopt Rex and and reunite with him when he is retired from duty.

 

7. Transformers: The Last Knight

Humans are at war with the Transformers, and Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving the future lies buried in the secrets of the past and the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Now, it's up to the unlikely alliance of Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), Bumblebee, an English lord (Anthony Hopkins) and an Oxford professor (Laura Haddock) to save the world.

 

8. Dave Chappelle

Netflix has a first real look out this week at Dave Chappelle’s two upcoming standup specials. It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything from Chappelle, but that ends when both hit the streaming service on March 21st.

 

9. Buster's Mal Heart

In this bold thriller spiked with dark humor, Rami Malek (Mr. Robot) is a family man whose chance encounter with a conspiracy-obsessed drifter leaves him on the run from the police and an impending event known as The Inversion.

 

10. Mindhorn

A has-been actor best known for playing the title character in the 1980s detective series "Mindhorn" must work with the police when a serial killer says that he will only speak with Detective Mindhorn, whom he believes to be a real person.

 

11. The Dundee Project

Mark Borchardt turns his camera on the UFO Daze gathering in Dundee, Wisconsin, where he finds an abundance of fascinating characters, a mystic landscape, and the paradox between empirical evidence and extraterrestrial longing. Featuring luminaries who claim to be in direct contact with the aliens themselves, this film offers an objective vantage point for its subjects to outlay their beliefs unhindered by censorious reasoning. If anything, this documentary will keep you on your toes and your eyes to the skies.
